Open EML Files

On Desktop

1. Find the .eml file in your file manager.
2. Use Open With and choose Filo. If Filo is already associated with .eml files, double-clicking can open it directly.
3. Read the message in Filo and inspect the content you need.

On iOS and Android

1. Find the .eml file in Files, Downloads, or the app that contains it.
2. Use the system’s open or share action and choose Filo.
3. View the message in Filo. The exact system menu depends on your device.

If Filo is not offered

Update to a version that supports EML files and confirm that the file ends in .eml. Save a downloaded file locally before trying again.

This guide covers opening and viewing a local file. It does not describe importing it into a connected mailbox.
