AI Writing

Filo's AI composer helps you turn intent and thread context into complete email replies you can review, edit, and send.

AI Draft

Clicking Compose, Reply, Reply All, or Forward opens a new compose window. In the AI input box, describe the rough content you want to write, then click Generate with AI. Filo uses your historical preferences and the email context to prepare a draft for you.

How to get better AI writing

Writing Styles

Filo includes the default style plus three built-in writing styles: Concise, Friendly, and Professional. You can also go to Settings to add the writing styles you need. See Writing Style for details.

Translate

Before writing, choose the language for this draft output.

Refine the output

After AI generates a version, use Longer, Shorter, Rewrite, and Check Grammar to tune it until it feels right. You can also select part of the text and polish only that section.

On desktop, if the output language is different from your interface language, select the content, right-click, and choose translate to review it in a language you are comfortable with.

Traditional draft tools

You can still use traditional draft features such as formatting controls and signatures while composing.
